Chapter 4 of 9
Super Scatter
Only one game in the series has it: Sugar Rush Super Scatter, released in January 2026. It is a second kind of scatter that pays an instant prize on top of starting free spins. Here is exactly when.

The rule
The game's rules page says three things about the Super Scatter:
- It can appear on all reels.
- Combinations of 3 or more Scatter and Super Scatter symbols trigger or retrigger the free spins.
- Combinations of 3 or more Scatter or Super Scatter symbols with at least one Super Scatter included pay a prize, depending on how many Super Scatters are in it.
| On the trigger spin | Instant prize |
|---|---|
| 1 Super Scatter | 100x your base bet |
| 2 Super Scatters | 500x your base bet |
| 3 Super Scatters | 5,000x your base bet |
| 4 Super Scatters | 50,000x your base bet |
The prize is a multiple of the base bet. If you play with the Ante or a Super Spin switched on, your stake is bigger but the prize is still counted on the base bet.
Five situations, worked through
| On the grid | Free spins? | Super Scatter prize |
|---|---|---|
| 3 scatters, no Super Scatter | Yes, 10 | None |
| 2 scatters + 1 Super Scatter | Yes, 10 | 100x |
| 1 scatter + 2 Super Scatters | Yes, 10 | 500x |
| 1 Super Scatter alone | No | None |
| 2 Super Scatters, nothing else | No | None |
The last two rows are the ones people misread. A lone Super Scatter is just a pretty sun: it needs at least two partners of either kind to count. In the round we replayed on the game page, one fell in during the first free spin with no other scatters and paid nothing.
During free spins the same rule applies to retriggers: three or more scatters of either kind add spins, and any Super Scatters among them pay their prize as well.
How often did it pay in our test?
The game doesn't publish how often Super Scatters land. Our sample is small, but it gives a feel for it:
- In 15 regular bought bonuses, 5 had at least one Super Scatter in the trigger. One had two, paying 500x, and the round ended at 1,054.8x in total, our best regular buy across the four games.
- In 5 Super Free Spins buys, 1 had a Super Scatter prize (100x); it ended at 2,968.1x.
- In 500 base spins the game triggered free spins on its own three times, and one of those triggers carried a 100x prize.
So in our bought rounds the 100x prize was common enough to matter: a third of regular buys got their first 100x back from the prize alone. Five of fifteen Super Scatter buys paid back their price, against two or three of fifteen in the other games. We never saw three or four Super Scatters together, and nobody should plan on it: the 5,000x and 50,000x rungs are there, but the game's own configuration puts the overall 50,000x cap at roughly a one-in-10-million event.

Does the Super Scatter make the game pay more?
Not on average. The RTP of Super Scatter is 96.58% for normal play, a whisker above the original's 96.50%. The prizes are part of that same budget: money that pays Super Scatter prizes is money that isn't paid elsewhere. What the Super Scatter changes is the shape of the results. In our test it made bought rounds less all-or-nothing, because a third of them came with an instant 100x on top.
In short
- 1, 2, 3 or 4 Super Scatters in a trigger of 3+ scatters pay 100x, 500x, 5,000x or 50,000x the base bet.
- Without at least three scatters in total, a Super Scatter pays nothing.
- The prize is paid on the base bet and comes on top of the free spins.
