Chapter 7 of 9
Max win
"Win up to 50,000x" is the biggest number on any Sugar Rush intro screen. It is real, it is a hard ceiling, and it is extremely rare. Here is everything the games say about it.
The caps
| Game | Max win | At a $1 bet | Top spot multiplier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sugar Rush | 5,000x | $5,000 | x128 |
| Sugar Rush Xmas | 5,000x | $5,000 | x128 |
| Sugar Rush 1000 | 25,000x | $25,000 | x1,024 |
| Super Scatter | 50,000x | $50,000 | x1,024 |
In Super Scatter the cap is counted on the base bet. With a special bet on, your stake is larger but the cap stays at 50,000 base bets; with Super Spin 2 (250 base bets per spin) that is 200 times the spin's stake.
What happens when a round reaches it
All four rules screens use the same wording: the maximum win amount is limited in both base game and free spins, and if the total win of a free spins round reaches it, the round immediately ends, the win is awarded and all remaining free spins are forfeited.
So the cap is a ceiling, not a bonus prize. If a round would have gone past it, you get exactly the cap. And if it is reached with spins still left, those spins are lost.
How rare is it?
Pragmatic Play doesn't print a probability on the rules screen. The configuration file that each demo loads does carry a field with a figure that reads as the average number of rounds per max win. We quote it as the developer's own number, not as a certified probability:
| Game and mode | Cap | Listed frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Sugar Rush, Sugar Rush Xmas | 5,000x | about 1 in 2.34 million rounds |
| Sugar Rush 1000 | 25,000x | about 1 in 12.8 million rounds |
| Super Scatter, normal play | 50,000x | about 1 in 10 million rounds |
| Super Scatter, Ante | 50,000x base bet | about 1 in 280,000 rounds |
| Super Scatter, Super Spin 1 | 50,000x base bet | about 1 in 333 million rounds |
| Super Scatter, Super Spin 2 | 50,000x base bet | about 1 in 50,000 rounds |
To put the base-game figures in human terms: at one spin every three seconds, 2.34 million spins is about 81 days of non-stop play, 12.8 million spins about a year and a quarter. A player who plays an hour a week would need many lifetimes to expect one.
The special-bet figures look much shorter, but remember the price per spin. With Super Spin 2 at 250 base bets a spin, 50,000 spins cost 12.5 million base bets on average to reach a 50,000-base-bet cap. That isn't a shortcut; the RTP of the mode (96.52%) already accounts for it.

Our biggest results
In 2,000 base spins and 74 bonus rounds we never came close to a cap. Our biggest results:
- 2,968.1x: Super Scatter, Super Free Spins buy, with a 100x Super Scatter prize and a cell at x1,024.
- 2,042.2x: Super Scatter, Super Free Spins buy.
- 1,054.8x: Super Scatter, regular buy with two Super Scatters (500x prize).
- 746.5x: Sugar Rush 1000, Super Free Spins buy, with a cell at x512.
- 550.4x: Sugar Rush Xmas, regular buy, with a cell at the x128 cap.
- 101.25x: the best single base-game spin (original Sugar Rush).
Even the best of those is 6% of Super Scatter's cap. The "win up to" number is a ceiling that shapes the game's maths; it is not what a good session looks like.
In short
- 5,000x in the original and Xmas, 25,000x in 1000, 50,000x in Super Scatter.
- Reaching it ends a free spins round on the spot.
- The games' own figures put it at one in millions of rounds for normal play.
