Responsible gambling
Sugar Rush is fun to watch and easy to keep playing, which is exactly why it is worth setting rules before you start. Slots are paid entertainment. Over time they cost money; that's how every one of them is built, including these four at 96.5%.
Habits that keep it a hobby
- Set the budget first, and treat it as spent. Only play with money you would happily spend on a night out.
- Set a time limit too, and stop at whichever limit comes first. Our session planner shows what an hour costs at your bet.
- Never chase losses. "One more buy to get it back" is the most expensive habit this series can feed. Bonus buys cost 100 or 500 bets at once.
- Don't play to fix a mood, when tired, after drinking, or with money meant for bills.
- Take breaks. Turbo spin and autoplay make time and money disappear faster; use the game's loss limits in the autoplay menu if you use it at all.
Use the casino's tools
Licensed casinos must offer these, usually in your account settings:
- Deposit limits per day, week or month. Lowering them takes effect at once; raising them usually takes a cooling-off period.
- Reality checks: reminders of how long you have played and how much you have spent.
- Time-outs: a break of a day to a few weeks.
- Self-exclusion: closing your account for six months or more. Many countries also run national schemes that cover every licensed site at once.
Warning signs
It may be time to stop, or to talk to someone, if you:
- spend more money or time than you meant to, more often than not;
- borrow, sell things or skip bills to gamble;
- feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down;
- hide your gambling from people close to you;
- gamble to win back what you have lost.
